STEM-ICT 3D engages students in science and high-tech learning skills

STEM and ICT Instructional Worlds: The 3D Experience—STEM-ICT 3D for short—is a three-year initiative that began in the fall of 2008. The project is funded by a National Science Foundation continuing grant of about $1.5 million.

The intent of the project is to spark the interest of middle school students—especially those in underrepresented populations—in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), and particularly information and communication technology (ICT) fields.
